Update on Salazar (Dem Senate candidate in Colorado)

The Denver Post reports that the other two Dems in the race--millionaire Rutt Bridges and Congressman Mark Udall (Mo's son)--have withdrawn from the race and endorse Salazar.

Salazar's the man, and a very good choice, from here in Denver.

2. Bill Owens is not running

He announced that yesterday. His exit makes this a real race for the Dems who have a clear shot now to take this seat.

4. Muddle for Republicans

It looks like the Democrats are going to have a unified party for the US Senate race.

The Republicans are going to have a muddle ... maybe even a knock down drag out fight. Right-wing nut Bob Shaeffer of Fort Collins is running. I believe Tom Tancredo will run. That means the GOP establishment will need to find a "moderate" to run.

Should be interesting.
