Bush digs in for victory
Tomorrow, Bu$h will be traveling to Long Island, NY to attend a 9-11 Memorial Ground Breaking. After the ground breaking Bu$h will be attending a campaign fundraiser in the same park. Again, Bu$h demonstrates how little respect he has for anyone or anything. I guess it's just his way to show everyone how much he really cares.

Wednesday March 10, 2004

President Bush will be doing some digging tomorrow on New York's Long Island, as he breaks ground at a site where a twin-tower memorial is due to be erected to those who died on September 11.

<snip>

Somewhat disingenuously, the president of the local 9/11 Memorial Foundation on Long Island described Mr Bush's presence as being "all about the families. wants to touch and talk to as many families as possible."

<snip>

The president's attendance at the memorial event tomorrow takes place before he attends a campaign fundraiser in the same park, and he will be joined at the ceremony by New York state's Republican governor.

<snip>

Local Republican organisers will be hoping that the carefully vetted audience at the Long Island event tomorrow, which is "all about the families," will not be asking any awkward questions and spoiling another early photo opportunity that portrays the wartime president parading on safe - if soggy - campaign ground.

4. Of course he's exploiting 9/11,

He has NOTHING else to be his claim to fame. I'm waiting for the media to ask him "Why, when we were warned by several countries that we were about to be attacked, was nothing done to stop it?"

I have the feeling that more and more, people are starting to ask themselves that very question.

5. key phrase: "carefully vetted audience"
His entire life is carefully vetted. No newspapers, only sycophants for advisors. All speeches at military bases or in heavily guarded party functions. Why is he so afraid of the general public? <rhetorical question - no response needed>

15. Handlers
During his dad's campaign the word "handlers" was common parlance and contributed to him being regarded as but a puppet. This foolish son is even more of a puppet. Can we revive the term?

6. carefully vetted audience, eh?
My, the presidunce does have to go throuhg a lot to maintain his Potemkin image.

May he be protested off his fat ass for this arrogant display. May the protestors break the barriers and storm the area shouting insults at this little bitty man who ran away from harms way on 9-11 and who, instead of doing anything to protect us, went on vacation for a whole month in August.

May they break up his little staged play act and may he fall flat on his face and look like the ass he is. May he hit the bottle and show up drunk, like the drunk he is.

Not the CHIMPANZEE--He gives a shit about the dead or wounded Iraqis, and certainly not at all for his own soldiers ----ergo-- -

His bizarre genuflecting before a pile of money is a wonder to behold for everyone.

9. BUSH FATIGUE
Spread this meme far and wide: Bush fatigue.

America is sick of this fascist clown. He and his aging Reaganites need to vacate the halls of power come November.

13. Just showing the world
how he really feels. That's what happens to people who are natural born losers.

I never saw this version of that shot. Look at Laura just sitting there ignoring the whole thing. That's how she slides through life with that silly grin on her face all the time. I would die sitting at a baseball game with some asshole picking his nose but then I would never have even married such a jerk.

Hey George, how about attending just ONE funeral for a fallen US soldier! Too busy for that? Where are the *hugs* you promised the soldiers' families? What a disgusting excuse for a human being he is! :puke:

At least he doesn't try to be tactful about it -attending a fundraiser after dedicating a memorial just shows what a partisan, blatantly insensitive, egotistical, offensive political animal that he genuinely is
