Dr David Kelly inquest could reopen

The investigation into the death of scientist Dr David Kelly could be reopened if the Conservatives win the General Election, it was reported last night.

Shadow Justice Secretary Dominic Grieve said the public has “not been reassured” the weapons expert committed suicide near his home in Southmoor, near Abingdon, in 2003.

Shortly before his death Dr Kelly had been exposed as the source of a BBC report which questioned the existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

Mr Grieve said: “Should the Conservative Party form a Government at the next election I will look into the matter of Dr Kelly’s death to establish whether more information should in fact be released to the public.”

Would like to see some Truth on this....wasn't the last person he emailed the 'journalist' from the NYT who spent time in jail...Judy (can't remember her last name...gratefully).

They're not saying it WILL be re-opened, but that it COULD be. 'Vote for us and we'll give you pie in the sky!' I'm not buying any from them,.

Unless they can find a photo of Blair brandishing the knife.

The truth of Dr. Kelly's death needs to come to light. As awful as it will be, we *need* to know the truth.
