Donors want money back from Dem-turned-Republican

NEW YORK (AP) -- A group of Steve Levy's campaign contributors want their money back, and are heading to Long Island to tell him so.

The Suffolk County executive switched parties last month to run for governor as a Republican. That's angered some Democratic donors. They have planned a press conference for Wednesday outside Levy's office to ask him to return the cash

3. Living in a strong republican bastion.....
....I have seen people switch parties to win elections. It's not about political ideology, it's all about the politicians and their aspirations. These people don't give a shit about you, it's about them! I wouldn't vote for any candidate who switched parties.

I know power is a strong aphrodesiac. Some think they need it to be successful. These are the people who do not have the intelligence to succeed on their own, and they are easy to spot.

4. I've basically concluded that anyone giving money to a politician is a sucker.
There might be a few exceptions. I wouldn't mind giving 100 bucks to Kucinich. I suppose a Republican who gives money to Ron Paul might be a dumbass, but is not a sucker.

Other than that, if you give money to a politician you are pretty much a sucker.
