Blagojevich Judge Calls Emergency Meeting

The judge presiding over former Gov. Rod Blagojevich's corruption trial called an emergency meeting Thursday evening after information that was intended to remain under seal was released to the public in a defense filing to subpoena President Barack Obama.

Judge James B. Zagel scheduled a 6 p.m. hearing in his chambers to question attorneys about why the redacted information was readable, according to reports.

They can't be serious, he is contending that only the President can testify that in fact he was never trying to sell the Senate seat. It appears his logic is that if he was trying to sell the Senate seat then the President is somehow guilty too so therefore Obama must testify to his defense to protect his own defense?

Am I understanding this right?

and why is redacted information being leaked to the Public? Are they trying to set up a mistrial?

You're right the Repubs are going to try to make this something it's not. The Dem's need to get in front of this. IMO.
