Revolution Islam, Website Of Group That Threatened Comedy Central, Is Hacked

What a bad night for the radical fundamentalist creeps at Revolution Islam, the goons who threatened "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone along with the entire Comedy Central organization yesterday over an episode of "South Park", which contained images of Mohammed that were eventually censored. While a nation of "Daily Show" fans were tuning in to watch an angry Jon Stewart lead another performance of his "Go Fuck Yourself" choir in retaliation, visitors to the Revolution Islam site found that their homepage had been hilariously hacked.

The damage is free for all to see this morning as well

not www.revolutionislam.com

It sounds odd to me, to name the movement after the people rather than the ideology. Not that there isn't precedent.

16. The hacking appears to have been redirecting 'revolutionmuslim' to 'revolutionislam'
which may explain why 'revolutionmuslim' has now been made unreachable.

UPDATED: Now Younus Abdullah Mohammed, of Revolution Muslim, has confirmed to us that hackers briefly redirected the group's website to revolutionislam.com, a site that hosts the image above — a cartoon depiction of the Prophet, originally published by Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten in 2005.

The Muslim website, Revolution Muslim based in New York City, has been hacked in retaliation for the fact that the website targeted South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone over of two recent episodes that satirized the Prophet Muhammad. Currently, Revolution Muslim's website is down.

The hack was first noticed Wednesday night and lasted for a brief period of time. According to Gawer.com, the hackers managed to redirect Revolution Muslim's website to another website called Revolution Islam. When a visitor went to Revolution Muslim's website they were redirected to images of Prophet Muhammad with a bomb on his head and an older Muslim man kissing a young boy passionately.

19. 4chan's /b/ did the hack.
I can't say the specifics, but there is one dedicated chat channel by /b/tards and other 4channers that do the real coordination and raiding. The rest of the swarm (/b/tards) were merely cannon fodder.
