Reuters(Reuters) - The Senate will try again to take up a sweeping reform of banking rules at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said, as they keep the pressure on Republicans to drop their objections to the bill.
Republicans united to prevent the Senate from taking up the bill on Monday as they sought more time to work out a compromise. Democrats plan another vote on Wednesday if they fall short in Tuesday's vote, an aide said.

This should be a package deal. There should be a vote each day in the early afternoon, immediately followed by a Press Conference to unveil a new TV commercial focusing on one of the Republicans voting against Financial Reform, all timed to make it onto the 6:30 network news.
