4 Teens Arrested in Firebombing Case
Four teenage friends were arrested Wednesday for torching the home of a Mexican family over the Fourth of July weekend by intentionally shooting off a fireworks device from a moving car, Suffolk police and law enforcement sources said.

"There is no question from the evidence that we have reviewed, the statements that some of the defendants have given us, that they targeted this particular house because there were Mexicans living" there, said Suffolk District Attorney Thomas Spota, announcing the arrests Thursday in Brentwood.

Ramirez, however, said the attack underscored how militant anti-immigrant groups in Farmingville have created an environment of hatred that fostered the attack. "What we are seeing is what happens when you plant the seeds of hate, and we all know who planted them," he said.

Patrick Young, head of the Long Island Immigrant Alliance, an immigrant advocacy group, concurred. "I doubt any Long Islanders are shocked that it happened in that community because it came after years of violent, racially hateful language coming from an organized group in Farmingville, the Sachem Quality of Life," which contends Mexicans are trying to reconquer the United States, Young said.

1. We will be "reaping the whirlwind" from the Bush cabal for a long time.
The tone is definitely set at the top and in the backrooms of the boardrooms and moneymen.

2. Read what spokesman for the group that feeds this hatred says.

Ray Wysolmierski, who identified himself as spokesman for the Sachem group, denied it contributed to the attack and said it condemned violence. Instead, he faulted the day laborers. "The truth is they have invaded. The truth is they are terrorists, low-level terrorists, but terrorists nonetheless," Wysolmierski said.

No - Ray they are not terrorists, they are people who wish to feed their families by performing an honest day's work. That is what this nation was built on and most of us can trace the history of our family's presence in America to people much like these. What ever you think of American immigration policy the comparison to terrorism is utterly without merit. It merely serves to underline the fact that you and those in your organization have no valid point to make; you are bigots plain and simple.
