9/11 Funds Traced to Pakistan Accounts

WASHINGTON - Investigators have traced the funding for the Sept. 11 attacks to al-Qaida accounts in Pakistan, a top FBI counterterrorism official told a Senate panel Thursday. Officials did little to clarify the Saudi role in the funding.

1. Here comes the spin....

It's certainly true that the Pakistani ISI, a puppet organization of the CIA, had a lot to do with the training and funding of the terroris.. er freedom fighters who chased the Russians out of Afghanistan in the 80's.

But let's face it. Osama's a Saudi. 15 of his 19 friends were Saudis. The Bush Criminal Empire has been buddys with the Saudis, including the Bin Laden family, for decades.

There is no fucking way the Saudis wash their hands of this.

2. ISI

The Pakistani ISI is rogue. It doesn't appear to be ultimately under anyone's control, much less CIA control.

ISI has been involved with Afghanistan on a long term basis. It's most noticable acomplishment was creating the Taliban.

3. Saudis

have been funding the madrassahs (religious schools) in Pakistan and other poor muslim nations, to recruit and create an army of jihadis. This money for 9/11 attacks no doubt came from the Saudis, but was funneled through Pakistani banks.
