Bush Gets Drenched at Golf Course

WASHINGTON -- Just a few hours after President Bush announced "I got my summer buzz," he headed to the golf course at Andrews Air Force Base Friday for an afternoon round of golf with friends under gray, threatening skies.

The foursome played two holes before the round was washed out.
As the line of golf carts headed down the first fairway just before 3 p.m, they were greeted by a long, rolling thunderclap. Within 15 minutes, the skies opened with torrential rains watched by dozens of golfers in the clubhouse.

The downpour let up briefly and was followed by a steady rain.



Damn…too bad he wasn’t holding a 2-iron

I'd be cleaning a screen and keyboard.

Hope this is the start of a lousy vacation for AWOL.

How's he going to manage without August at the pig farm next year during campaign season? Or will he be arrogant enough to base the campaign there?
