Montgomery GazetteThe economic recovery's seesaw job trend continued last month, as Maryland employers added 11,600 jobs in April, the most in one month in the past year, according to U.S. Department of Labor figures released Friday.
April's gains followed a loss of about 6,000 jobs in March, a gain of some 8,000 in February and a decline of about 5,000 in January. The net gain over the past year was only 1,300 positions, but still that was stronger than April-to-April losses of some 12,000 and 83,000 the previous two years, respectively. . .
