Two Iraqis in Western Kentucky indicted on federal terror charges
Source: Courier Press

Two Iraqi nationals living in Bowling Green, Ky., have been indicted on terrorism-related charges, U.S. Attorney David J. Hale, of the Western District of Kentucky, announced Tuesday in a news release.

Waad Ramadan Alwan, 30, and Mohanad Shareef Hammadi, 23, were charged in a 23-count indictment that alleges that, among other things, Alwan was involved in numerous improvised-explosive device attacks against U.S. troops and that Hammadi conspired to support terrorists.

Neither is charged with plotting attacks within the U.S., according to the release.

“With these arrests, which are the culmination of extraordinary investigative work by law enforcement and intelligence officials,” said Todd Hinen, the acting assistant Attorney General for National Security, “the support provided by these individuals comes to an end and they will face justice.”

1. The word "terrorism" has apparently lost all meaning
Since when did attacking an occupying military force become "terrorism"?

4. From our side of the sense, it is terrorism...
While the fact that we occupy these lands could be considered terrorism to them. Nonetheless, the actions do fit the definition of terrorism on both fronts.

Depending on their legal status.

Or they could be considered spies since they aren't in uniform and then shot out of hand.

2. All right! More justice!
Show you fuckin' Yurpeans what that word means. And it doesn't mean just arresting some very, very bad person and hauling him off to court. When the U.S. prosecution racket gets done with Messrs. Alwan and Hammadi, you won't recognize them! That's justice, baby!
