Hillary to visit Portland, Oregon (Tue. PM)

The New York senator will be at Borders Books in downtown Portland on Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. ..

A limited number of free tickets for the event will be given out at Border's starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday. There's a limit of one ticket person, and the bookstore says a ticket does not guarantee that you'll be able to get your book autographed.

"We'll start to give them out at 9 a.m., however I anticipate the line will form long before that," said Borders spokesman Dan Eichler.

"We don't know how many people will be lined up outside our door, but we're going to be giving a limited number of tickets out," he added. "Senator Clinton will be here for 90 minutes to sign, and we want to accomodate as many people as possible." ..

In addition to the Portland book signing, Senator Clinton will attend a Seattle book signing as well as several fundraisers in the Pacific Northwest this week.

IIRC Bush is on the 20th and there's already posters up around town about shutting down the city with protests, and Dean last I checked is coming the 24th or 25th. I, coming to the end of my school term, will likely be unable to attend any of these events :(
