MDC denies dropping case against Mugabe - Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe's opposition Movement for Democratic Change denied speculation on Monday that it was ready to withdraw its court challenge to President Robert Mugabe's re-election last year.

Reports in Zimbabwean and international media said the party was ready to drop the legal challenge to kickstart negotiations with Mugabe's ruling Zanu-PF party.

Dropping the court case would be tantamount to recognising the legitimacy of Mugabe's presidency, something which he has demanded as a precondition for talking to the MDC.

Is Mugabe more legitimate than Arroyo- Philippines and Musharraf - Pakistan and Bush - United States?
