2. Greenspan May NOT Go Up This Year, But Then
inflation will heat up even more. And long-term interest rates will start to get out of synch with the fed rate. There's only so much the Fed can do.

This is a typical stagflation quandary caused by a rise in oil and other basic commodities.

5. BINGO!!! GREENSPAN ISTHE BIGGEST REASON WHY
Bush is getting the numbers that he'e getting. Greenspan has pursued an abnormally low interest rate policy throughout Bush's term. This from the man that kept raising rates again and again during Clinton's tenure because of inflation.

Yet, inflation today is raging out of control. Look at fuel costs. Look at milk costs. Look at housing costs. Look at bread costs. Look at meat costs. Everything is getting more and more expensive, but where's the rate hike.

Gotta get the monkey elected this fall.
