Yeah, with Carl Levin, Ted Kennedy and Robert Byrd, I'm sure Rummy's going to be real worried about Wayne Allard, who is worthless even for a Republican. :puke:

Washington, DC, May. 6 (UPI) -- A Republican senator said Thursday Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld should expect "tough questioning" on Capitol Hill Friday.

Rumsfeld will testify to the Senate Armed Services Committee Friday on the Abu Ghraib prison abuse scandal. He is expected to explain why Congress was not notified earlier about the full extent of the abuse.

"We told him that he needs to be prepared to come forward with some facts and to expect some tough questioning from the members of the Senate Armed Services Committee," said Colorado Sen. Wayne Allard at the Pentagon after a meeting with Rumsfeld.

With four of the Republican members of the committee this morning. I guess that was when he gave them the questions that they're going to ask him.

3. Allard a Vet(rinarian)
Used to be our vet when I lived in Colorado. Wet-palmed mortician type. Gives me the creeps.

(But he did take a fish hook out of our racoon's nose once...)

11. Not stray cats, which would be egregious enough, he adopted
cats from the Shelter and Humane Society so he could cut them up. Anyone who kills animals is a real crazy.

12. Allard needs a distemper shot
He's just another good old boy, that plays games with the truth and calls it politics. I'm referring to the sex scandal at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. Shame Shame on this government stamped bona fide asshole.

I know someone who grew up in Berthoud - Allard was her familie's vet when she was growing up. She used the exact same characterization - he "gave her the creeps".
