1. related article: Officials react to deaths of two N.D. soldiers in one day
http://www.dfw.com/mld/dfw/news/special_packages/iraq/8622433.htm?1c

BISMARCK, N.D. - The commander of the North Dakota National Guard says he worries that the death of two soldiers in one day will hurt support among state residents for the war in Iraq.

<snip>

The Guard on Sunday confirmed the death of Pvt. Philip Brown, 21, of Jamestown, who died Saturday after suffering a chest wound and having his legs amputated below the knees. Brown was wounded by a bomb while on foot patrol. Haugen said he did not know where in Iraq it happened.

<snip>

Another member of the 141st, Spc. James Holmes, 28, of East Grand Forks, Minn., also died Saturday, in a hospital in Germany. He had been wounded earlier in the week by a roadside bomb while he was on a vehicle patrol in Iraq.

<snip>

Haugen said the positive things that soldiers are doing in Iraq are being overshadowed by television pictures of people opposed to the American presence.

...more...

Yeah, right, we're really doing positive things in Iraq.

2. This Haugen fellow is really torturing the language to say this
I know, bad pun. The only positive move left is withdrawal.

- No WMD.
- Saddam gone.
- Widespread resistance.
- Torture, rape and murder (now with dogs) to suppress resistance.

What possible positive results could come from staying now?

3. It's time for these fools to wrap their "beautiful minds" around this idea
They are LOSERS. They have brought shame and disgrace to our country, and they should be run out of Washington in shame and disgrace.

And these poor families. I'm so sorry for all of them, and all of us.
