Ex-Klansman (David) Duke working for 'white rights' group

While awaiting release from a halfway house, former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke has been working for an organization he founded that defends "white civil rights."

Duke, a former state lawmaker who ran for governor and the Senate, was required to get a job while at the Baton Rouge halfway house, where he is completing his federal sentence for fraud.

Tracy Billingsley, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Bureau of Prisons in Washington, said Sunday she had no comment on Duke's job until she could check into it.

But Duke spokesman Roy Armstrong said federal prison officials did not object to Duke working for his own organization, the European-American Unity and Rights Organization, or EURO.

I don't know if it was false, if he has backslid, or if this is some kinder, gentler type of white supremacy, like maybe, I don't know, and all white bridge club or something.

In the 90's he took off his robe and hood for public events, but never left the rhetoric behind.

He was in a leadership positon in the KKK. Bigotry is still inside of him. Years ago he sold his *huge* mailing list to the Repuck Gov Foster of La. A Democrat, Kathleen Blanco just got elected for Gov. She beat a Repuck Bobby Jindal. It was close and La may be up for grabs this Nov.:bounce: Kerry is working on this as I type.

Duke made a swing-by in my neighborhood back when he was a "legitimate" Klanscritter. No hood, no burning crosses, but the same festering brain under all that blow-dried hair.

Yes, David Duke was The Face of the New, Improved Ku Klux Klan -- young, attractive, hip. All of the old-fashioned undiluted Hate we've come to know, but packaged in someone who "looks more like America".

So he wants us poor, put-upon white guys to get a better break, does he? Well, the fewer such spokesbeings like David Duke we have, the better image "our race" will have.
