Hollinger paid (Conrad Black's) expenses: lawsuit - Globe and Mail
http://www.globeandmail.ca/servlet/story/RTGAM.20040511.wxrholling11/BNStory/Business/

Hollinger International Inc. paid for personal expenses of Conrad Black and his wife Barbara Amiel, ranging from the cost of refurbishing a 1958 Rolls-Royce to the tip handed to a Bergdorf-Goodman doorman, according to allegations in the latest incendiary lawsuit in the Hollinger saga.

The eyebrow-raising charges are included in a revised lawsuit filed Friday in a Chicago court by the special committee of Hollinger International's board. The suit details massive claims against Lord Black, his colleagues David Radler, Daniel Colson and Jack Boultbee, and his holding companies, for allegedly taking millions in improper management fees, non-competition payments, and bonuses.

The suit alleges Lord Black and the other defendants used Hollinger "as a cash cow to be milked of every possible drop of cash."

Other people's money, Conrad? Why, I am so surprised!

4. Yep, I agree!
The only thing Hollinger did that I agree with is renounce his Canadian citizenship, he is NO Canadian, in thought or in deed!

3. Is it possible his title can be rescinded? It would drive him wiiiild.
I've heard he did everything in his power to obtain the recent honor.

It would be completely fitting if he had to give it up.

5. Well, recall the recent troubles of 'Lord' Jeffrey Archer?
He was thrown out of the House of Lords, but I don't think they can take his title away. Empty little baubles for cheap petty men.
