BAGHDAD, Iraq - A bomb exploded beside a U.S. military convoy in Baghdad, killing one U.S. soldier and injuring another, the U.S. military said Thursday.

And one more injured. Why are we over there? I've been outraged since I found out Missouri's governor wrote a letter to Bush expressing concern that the Missouri Army National Guard has been assigned to Halliburton as drivers. Is this what America stands for? Lowly military pay so they can be assigned to corporate bodies in the business of profit? Sickening. Degenerate.
