Zell Miller to Speak at GA GOP Convention

Is it possible to square this with the self-applied label "Democrat for Bush?"

"A confident Georgia Republican Party rolls into Columbus today for its annual convention and pep rally, this time with a certain Democrat in tow.

The state GOP, which party officials and some academics say is poised for historic gains, kicks off its two-day convention today with visits from Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie and Gov. Sonny Perdue. Saturday is scheduled to begin with a speech by U.S. Sen. Zell Miller (D-Ga.) .. "

7. I think...

That he will not seek reelection. So he "came out of the closet" so to speak. In all honesty if he did run again, I would be more than happy to send money to his republican opponent. A traitor to the party like him is not wanted or needed at such a pivotal time.
