Bush May Consider Stumping for Schwarzenegger in Calif. Election
http://ap.tbo.com/ap/breaking/MGACCYQD3JD.html

CRAWFORD, Texas (AP) - President Bush is leaving the door open to campaigning for California Republican gubernatorial candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger if it could help tip the balance in a close recall election, officials said Thursday.

Nearly a dozen people with ties to Bush emphasized he has no plans now to do so. But none would rule it out.

The White House took pains to publicly distance itself from the volatile campaign. Behind the scenes, though, administration officials and Bush re-election aides spent Thursday trying to discern the state of play in the tumultuous election.

They reached out to their network of lawmakers and other influential Republicans in the nation's most populous state on a day when Rep. Darrell Issa, the California Republican who bankrolled the recall petition campaign against Democratic Gov. Gray Davis, tearfully dropped out.

13. GOOD.
More's the better if flyboy tries to show himself in public in California. I hope FOX plays it up really big, and that the reich wing media machine covers their glowering, anti-christ-like poster boy is faced with a national referendum on his lies, deceit and treachery.

Arnold will DESERVE to lose big if he hooks up with Shrub. And wouldn't it be slightly macabre to see Our Great Leader campaigning at the site of an AUSTRIAN running for office? Not that Arnold's a fascist, but I couldn't resist the symbolism....

has decided another coup is called for.

So now we get word that Cowboy George wants to set up Ranch in Cali. Even though he's afraid of horses. It's kind of predictable watching Republicans replace the Gipper with the Barbarian, when that's clearly how the world (and those of us with some sanity left in the United States) views this administration. Arrogant, warlike and reckless.

There's more to geopolitics than cowboys and indians. Isn't there?

Here's the thing: If we are allowed to do this on the State level, we should be allowed to do it on a National Level. And I'd be the first to sign a petition to recall George W. Bush.

Why?

Compare the California Deficit to the US defecit under Bush. Think of the staggering number of jobs that have been lost. It is Bush's economy that is dragging down California, and now he wants to have a parade? Arnold is a Bush Republican. What is he going to do? A huge tax cut to the wealthy, probably.

California, for the love of God, don't become the next Florida. Seriously, man.

Edit to mention: You are lucky they didn't put up Brother Neil. I was half-surprised considering the strikingly high level of hubris emanating from the White House.

Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared on the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Wednesday and announced that he will run for governor of California.

Schwarzenegger’s Nazi problem

Will his ties to Kurt Waldheim hurt his bid for governor?

By Timothy Noah
SLATE.COM
Aug. 7 — Here’s a question Jay Leno forgot to ask Arnold Schwarzenegger when he announced his candidacy for governor of California on last night’s “Tonight Show”: “Will you renounce your support for Kurt Waldheim?”

8. Motives for the Conspiracy
So, why would an intelligence agency/secret society want to smuggle drugs and assassinate JFK?

Well, they make a lot of money, and they garner intelligence assets through their participation. There's also the rationale that the world is a seamy and unseemly place, and if you're going to be the 'big boy' on the block, you better know what's going on. And what better way of knowing than by running it yourself? There are also some who theorize that the covert drug trade fits with plans to destabilize American families and society. Through demoralizing and fracturing the body politic, they can impose their will using psychological warfare and the political alchemy of the Hegellian dialectic.

James Shelby Downard's article, "Sorcery, Sex, Assassination and the Science of Symbolism ," an underground classic, links American historical events with a wild, numerological, grand occult plan "to turn us into cybernetic mystery zombies". The assassination of JFK, this article contends, was the performance of a public occult ritual called The Killing of the King, designed as a mass-trauma, mind-control assault against our U.S. national body-politic.

During Operation Sunrise, Operation Blowback, Operation Paperclip and others, thousands of Nazi scientists, researchers and administrators were brought to the United States after World War II. Many were "smuggled" into the country against direct, written, orders from President Harry S. Truman.

Project Monarch was the resumption of a mind-control project called Marionette Programming, which started in Nazi Germany. The basic component of the Monarch Program is the sophisticated manipulation of the mind, using extreme trauma to induce Multiple Personality Disorder. (snip)

Surely, the AWOL "top gun" idiot-in-chief will garner extra votes for Arnie and the repukes-because of the "glamorization effect" of mixing "war and Hollywood". They will use the "partriotism" factor-"protecting America", to their advantage! Unfortunately, many Dems will fall for this b.s. propaganda, too!

Role too far for Arnie, lost action hero

(snip)
Jews do not run Hollywood ñ they are too busy fighting each other for that ñ but the one event guaranteed to unite them against you is whitewashing the Nazis," said a veteran producer last week.

In the past, the actor has fiercely denounced Nazis who took part in wartime atrocities, including his own father, a Nazi official who helped round up Austrian Jews for deportation and execution.

In 1989, he successfully sued a British newspaper which had suggested he was anti-semitic. He has raised millions of dollars for the Holocaust memorial trust in Los Angeles and is a friend of Simon Wiesenthal, the veteran Nazi-hunter.

The "nice Nazi" role may prove to be a character too far, however, for a superstar whose most popular roles have been a barbarian, a secret agent and a killer robot.

"Marlon Brando could play a sympathetic Nazi in The Young Lions in 1958 because Brando was widely known as a leftwinger: Schwarzenegger's politics are a little more confusing," said a studio source.

When Schwarzenegger arrived in America in 1968 as a young body-builder, he allied himself with the Republican cause. George Bush, who recruited him for fund-raising drives, dubbed him "Conan the Republican". But he maintained less respectable friendships back in Austria.

45. Wow! This deserves a thread of its own! Not just a daddy nazi!

In 1986 he invited Kurt Waldheim to his wedding in Massachusetts. Waldheim, the former United
Nations secretary-general, was in the middle of winning his election as president of Austria and
"forgetting" his own role in Austria's Nazi wartime record. A year later Waldheim was banned
from entering America.

Schwarzenegger has also been photographed with Jorg Haider, leader of Austria's right-wing
Freedom party who last year was filmed at a secret reunion of the Waffen SS, the military arm
of the Nazi SS, praising them as "decent people".

Haider claimed not to know that the Waffen SS had been designated a criminal organisation at the
Nuremberg trials.

47. Fascist clowns on steroids
Sickening. I can barely suppress my rage at the idea that anyone would participate in such underhanded efforts to topple legitimately elected officials. This is not just politics as usual. It is declaring war on Democracy as we know it. The integrity of the electoral process is being undermined once again as an apathetic nation watches.

I am disgusted at the cavalier fashion in which the muscleman asserts his desire to be governor. That he revels in the idea that he could win a governorship without winning the majority of the votes says to me that this man lacks any understanding of what it means to be an American.

Anyone who would be proud to take public office under these conditions is a man I have no respect for. There is something hideously ironic in this Bush/Schwarzenegger alliance. Birds of a feather evidently goosestep together! NeoNazis can try to establish some riechwing new world order in the United States, but some of us are going to shout the truth every time we see their ugly faces.
