Panic as Blair struck by flour-filled condom

London - Britain's Tony Blair and members of parliament were forced to evacuate a packed House of Commons chamber on Wednesday when a flour-filled condom thrown from the gallery hit the prime minister.

Lawmakers brushed the purple flour off Blair's left shoulder and hurried him out of the debating chamber amid fears the substance may have been noxious.

It was the second security lapse in Britain in a week, after a man tricked his way into Queen Elizabeth's country residence of Windsor Castle on Monday by pretending to be a police officer.
