TUNIS (Reuters) - A delayed Arab summit on Iraq (news - web sites), Palestine and political reform had a rocky start on Saturday when Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi (news - web sites) walked out of the opening session.

Gaddafi is famous for creating drama at international meetings but his walkout was the only glitch in a meeting carefully prepared to prevent unwelcome surprises.
Thirteen heads of state and three prime ministers, from the 22-member Arab League, took part in the opening session at a heavily guarded conference center in the Tunisian capital.
Palestinian President Yasser Arafat (news - web sites), who is trapped in the West Bank town of Ramallah by Israeli forces, spoke by video-link, condemning attacks on Israeli and Palestinian civilians and denouncing recent Israeli actions in Gaza.
