1. We are now in the dark days
of what we all predicted would happen.
Its always darkest before the dawn.
Right now the hell that a few insane and greedy people have unleashed is targetting the whole world with destruction.
We all knew this would happen.
No one listened to us.
In the meantime, our kids over there are targets, targets that Bush uses like he is playing a game of Risk.
They arent human beings to him, not at all.
The Vulcans..isnt that what this cabal calls themselves?
Wheezing impotent greedy people, C students, lacking a soul, lacking social conscience, lacking all aspects of decency.
We are in the dark days, the black days of this fraudulent presidency.
Only we can lift ourselves out of this morass, and climb back to some sanity.

2. with the mal-administration being unable to
understand or admit to any errors, it isn't surprising that to really see what is on the streets of Iraq must come from alternative news sources -

If the Russians are this worried, there is definitely something hugely wrong.

I just want you to know Mari333 that I worry with you for Michael.

7. Excuse me, but what do you mean by "a few insane and greedy people"?
Are you including Hillary and Kerry in that count? As well as the greater than 70% of the American public who were eager for this war?

Please, this atrocious war is bad enough without mythologizing. Be clear on this much: Iraq was invaded with the overwhelming participation of the so-called opposition party and the so-called citizenry. All were warned. Few listened.

It's an American problem, made in America, exported with the moral and political consent of Americans. And as long as that's not confronted through education and reform, there will be more such wars.

8. I'm not so sure about your 70% figure, but you're basically right. But
what more, really, could those of us who knew the inevitable debacle actually do more than volubly protest? Half or more of the damn planet did so and it had little effect. Your complaint is valid, but what is the solution?

that's what leaders are for.To shape public opinion and lead people for just causes. These scumbags, in typical fascist fashion, took a dizzy citizenry shell shocked from a bad terrorist event and easily led them down the shitter. Yes Iraq is definitely an American problem but it became that only because of fraudulent leadership.

11. We won't know how bad it is there until the moment
that they pull the plug and start running. There isn't any direct news from Iraq, Only briefings from Centcom and "news" releases. No more reporters on the street corners.
