Suspected Taliban Sentenced to Death
A suspected Taliban militant has been sentenced to death for a bombing in January that killed 13 children and two adults, a justice official said Saturday, amid an outcry over Afghanistan's return to capital punishment.
Abdul Ajan has appealed his conviction and sentence to a higher court, a month after Afghanistan carried out its first execution since the fall of the hardline Taliban regime, which drew international condemnation.

1. Bush's Family Values
Afghanistan is embracing the example set by * when he was Governor of Texas.
If someone is guilty of this kind of crime I say "lock them up for life". I can never condone use of the death penalty.
