Bush Reaffirms U.S. 'One-China' Policy on Phone
President Bush has restated his commitment to a "one China" policy, days after Beijing lashed out at Washington for allowing Taiwan's vice president to make transit stops in the United States.
China's Foreign Ministry said last week that a U.S. decision to allow Annette Lu to transit in the United States on the way to and from Central America violated prior Sino-U.S. agreements. The move also sent the wrong signal to people in Taiwan seeking formal independence, it said.

1. Isn't it interesting......the way China talks to us?
Notice the wording, "lashed out" at the US. Recently, I read that Cheney had to come with hat in hand to discuss "debt issues" with China about a month ago. I was surprised at the forcefulness of their wording, "demanded...insisted.....made clear that...".

Just last week, I noticed that China is getting involved in our "wonderful plans" in Iraq. They're actually demanding to see what the plans are, and how we're doing. I was so surprised.

Surprised...that is, until I read that we owe China over $100 billion. What's the old saying? The debtor is slave to the lender.
