Oh Good...

What other stories will be pushed to the back of the bus because of this?

To me this is the Acid Test for the media this summer. If it becomes All Laci, All The Time, at the expense of Plame, Abu Ghraib, et. al....

The media once again flunks in its function as the Fourth Estate!!!

6. Start writing those emails/faxes
to Greta and let her know we don't care and that we care about the abuse at the prisons.

4. Bet bushco is happy
nice big distraction for the media...particularly the media of choice for his base - Fox - who of late have had to give some press to the negative stories per Bush (of course with a nice spin) because the stories were getting too huge to just ignore.

7. And If the Media Can Rope In Gary Condit
Then they can stop reporting on the lies of the Bush Administration and his Iraqi War...just as they did in the lead up to the War.
