BAGHDAD, Iraq -- Four U.S. soldiers were wounded in the latest attacks in Iraq and one soldier has died of heat stroke.
The military says an improvised explosive device injured two soldiers from the 4th Infantry Division in ousted Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein's hometown of Tikrit.
Two other soldiers were hurt Sunday, along with a reporter, when someone fired a rocket-propelled grenade attack at troops at the Baghdad University complex.
The military says a soldier from the 3rd Corps Support Command died of heat stroke Saturday while traveling in a convoy in southern Iraq.
Meanwhile, a previously unknown group calling itself the Iraqi Resistance is vowing to keep fighting coalition troops. In a videotaped statement aired on Al-Jazeera, the group threatens to turn Iraq into a "graveyard for villain invaders."
The men, shown with their faces covered, said they are not remnants of the old regime.
