Wasserman Schultz to give DCCC $100,000

Debbie Wasserman Schultz has not even been elected to Congress, but she’s already made quite an impression on the financial front.

Wasserman Schultz, a Democrat running to replace Rep. Peter Deutsch (D) in Florida’s 20th Congressional District, announced at last Wednesday’s House Democratic Caucus meeting that she would give the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) $100,000, a Democratic leadership aide at the meeting said.

The gift was the first ever six-digit donation to that organization from a Democratic challenger, said DCCC spokesman Greg Speed.

1. She is impressive

Here in Florida we can watch certain legislative sessions on TV. This person is impressive. Got a good head on her shoulders, obviously got money also. But she seems to stand strong on her principles. Unfortunately I am not in her District so I can not vote for her.

3. She represents western Broward...

...and Miami-Dade Counties in the Florida Senate. Weston and Pembroke Pines are in her district.
