Sen Reid criticizes Bush's foreign missteps,'bad economic policy'
President Bush is in for a hard-fought re-election campaign regardless of who the Democratic nominee is because of serious missteps with the U.S. economy and in foreign policy, Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., said.

"We all know that Powell is on the way out, it is just a question of when. And for a lot of us, he has been the voice of reason in the foreign policy of this administration,"Reid said in an interview with The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Reid said he won't pick a favorite in the field of Democratic presidential candidates because he serves with four of them in the Senate"and I'm friends with the rest."

"The person who spoke out against the war was (Vermont Gov. Howard) Dean and he is being rewarded for that right now,"he said.

Sen. Joe Lieberman, D-Conn.,"is clearly the most conservative. The rest of them are pretty much the same,"he said.

1. "Pretty much the same" my butt.
What is with this "The person who spoke out against the war was Dean" crap...?

Kucinich has done every bit as much speaking out against the war, he just does it with far less pomp.

Tossing the only real progressive in the crowd in with the rest is smut.

And i don't want to hear any "he's not electable" stuff, that's not even the point here.

2. Methinks he will get some "clarifying" e-mails from DU-ers!!
Kucinich didn't just want to wait 60 days and go in with the UN!!

He was AGAINST THE WAR PERIOD. Destabilizing(gee we sure see that), making terrorist by the hundreds and thousands, no imminent threat...
Reid sure has his nerve to dismiss DK like that!!
