Three Fatally Shot in West Virginia
http://www.foxnews.com.edgesuite.net/story/0,2933,94868,00.html

In shootings bearing an eerie resemblance to the sniper-style attacks that plagued the Washington, D.C., region last fall, two people were killed in separate incidents Thursday, just four days after a similar killing of another man.

Two people were killed late Thursday in separate shootings outside Kanawha County convenience stores, in what police said could be related random shootings.

The two became the second and third people shot dead outside Kanawha Valley convenience stores within four days, and the third and fourth people murdered in Kanawha County on a bloody Thursday.

Thursday night, a woman was gunned down while pumping gas at a Campbells Creek convenience store about 10:20 p.m., while another person was shot slightly more than an hour later outside a Cedar Grove store. Both were killed.

3. Sigh
Yet another one of those "lawful" gun owners. I was in Kanawha County last weekend for work, and I'll be going back several more times before the end of the year. Great.

4. What a shame
The corrupt gun industry and the GOP held up ballistic fingerprinting....held up gun registration...kept gun law loopholes open...

How many more people have to die?

6. Way more people are killed by American gun nuts than terrorists
In reflection, I guess the gun nuts really are terrorists, but America won't admit it.

8. Yep
I bet this guy would have been the first in line to have his gun fingerprinted. After all, you wouldn't want to be charged with owning an unfingerprinted gun when you're caught shooting someone.

*rolling eyes*

10. Any sensible comments to add
The gun's fingerprint would be taken before it was sold...but don't let a fact ever get in the way of RKBA hooey...

11. What a crock
held up ballistic fingerprinting

Nevermind that in the two states that currently use a ballistic fingerprinting system not one single crime has been solved because of it or that the latest CA DOJ report on ballistic fingerprinting was not favorable for it.

Real life is not CSI.

12. Speaking as someone
who went through the horror of last year's sniper attacks in the DC area-- I don't wish that on my worst enemy. It was wild going out and thinking that you or one of your loved ones could be the next victim. I hope they catch whoever is doing this and fast.
