Iran Warns Israel on Nuclear Reactors
Middle East - AP

TEHRAN, Iran - Iran, building its first nuclear reactor and planning a second, warned Israel Monday against attacking the nuclear installations as it did an Iraqi facility in 1981.

Hamid Reza Asefi, the Foreign Ministry spokesman, told reporters Monday that he hoped Israel, which has warned against Iran's alleged nuclear weapons program, would not resort to such an "adventure."

"At any rate, the Zionist regime proved to be adventurous in the past and doesn't abide by any principles. In case it will commit such a mistake, it will pay dearly," he said. -

1. Oh boy here we go again

Yes Iran warned Israel of this in 2002 as well. Made clear there would be serious repercussions if Israel (or the US) for that matter, struck Iran peremptively. A warning was just reiterated a couple of weeks ago. It died down for a moment but with all the "red flags" (and I do mean "red flags") Israel has been sending up (there is another article on this in FA), I guess Iran feels the need to repeat herself.

3. well, i suppose
a sovereign nation being attacked by a nuclear armed country-unprovoked-.....because the sovereign nation is building a nuclear reactor.........might be "upsetting", not to mention a violation of international law.

This is very silly, the US and Israel could vaporize Iran instantly, deterrance isnt an option eh ?

diplomacy. It is a fucking game. Saudi Arabia and Iran are together in an OPEC alliance. There was recently untapped Oil discovered in Iran, if I am not mistaken. And the US is working both sides of the fence on this.

ON EDIT: IMHO.
