Cop's Appearance on 'Queer Eye' Questioned
NEW YORK - A Port Authority police officer who went on national television for a style makeover is under some scrutiny for allowing his uniform to make an appearance - on somebody else.

Port Authority officials said Verdi didn't get clearance to say he was a police officer on television, and that he shouldn't have let a civilian wear his uniform.

1. People really have the time to worry about this?
Good freaking grief. It's not like he went on Ricki Lake or something embarrassing.

2. Oh, MAN!
So, (while joking around) a couple of the "Queer" guys tried on a cop uniform, while probably never even leaving the apartment. They didn't go and "arrest" anyone, they didn't impersonate a cop.... They've tried on the clothes of OTHER makeover "victims" ... And the controversy is *what* exactly? ... Jeesh.

Hell, they could have visited the wardrobe department of LAW & ORDER and tried on uniforms from: Port Authority, FDNY, NYPD, Emergency Services, Doctors, etc etc etc.

4. Idiots
After I got out I remember an Anti-War protest I went to---- wearing my uniform coat. Some ass-hole said I should take it off. I told him to stick it up his ass.

This poor fool is still in. AND Yes, there are unifrom watchers and they are paid by YOU THE TAXPAYER.

WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY. (It also reeks of GAY BAITING)

6. I Watched That Show - But Didn't See the Uniform!!
Not being a New Yorker, I didn't realize they were trying on his uniform. The Fab 5 are constantly clowning around on the show, so nothing seemed different from all other episodes!!

Sounds like some jealous co-worker stirring up trouble!
