Russia to go ahead with nuke plant in Iran
Edited on Sat Aug-23-03 04:59 PM by NNN0LHI
Junior says if you feed a terrorist you are a terrorist. Or if you finance a terrorist you are a terrorist. Iran is on the list of countries who support terrorism, and on Juniors personal "axis of evil" list. But if Russia builds a nuclear reactor for a terrorist they are not a terrorist? Whats going on here? Why doesn't Bush crack down on Russia like he does everyone else? Why doesn't our media here in America report this stuff? Why aren't the Dem's raising hell about Bush letting the Russians get away with this? What gives? Don

MOSCOW AUG. 23. The Russian Government has given the green light for supply of fuel to a nuclear project in Iran in defiance of strong opposition from the United States.

The first shipment of nuclear fuel for the Russian-built nuclear reactor in Bushehr will be dispatched immediately after an additional protocol is signed shortly with Iran on the return of spent fuel to Russia, the Atomic Energy Ministry said on Friday.

The Ministry made the announcement after the Russian Government issued permission today to sign the protocol.

The decision puts an end to months of speculation that Moscow could drag its feet on the fuel-return protocol in order to delay the commissioning of the Bushehr plant.

1. Bush about to need bigger boots
How is going to handle this one? Russia is not going to back down. No way we are taking them on. And if Russia wants Iran to have this reactor plant, they are so hard up for cash it will happen.

Then, a member of the "Axis of Evil" will have openly flaunted the wishes of King George. What then?

God help us all.

3. Bet the freepers are tongue tied on this one
I can just see them doing cartwheels, handsprings and whatever else freepers do when they're pissed.

Aren't the North Korea meetings to begin next week?

Mexico dumped on him today and now Russia - Sounds like junior has his hands full.
