Gul: It is Impossible to Accept What Has Happened in Kerkuk

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul received the Iraq Turkmen Front (ITF) Turkey Representative Ahmet Muratli and London Representative Asif Sertturkmen earlier today.

Gul said that it is impossible to accept the kind of treatment Turkmens in Iraq are subject to right now and added that Turkey would anxiously follow the latest developments in Kerkuk (Kirkuk)...

"Everyone wishes stability and peace in the region and no one should be provoked. Any kind of instigations and incitements are possible there and these should not be given any chance. Those people in Iraq are relatives of each other and they are also our relatives."
