Bill Janklow's son says he'll be very surprised if South Dakota's representative returns to Washington when Congress resumes one week from today.
It's been ten days since Janklow's deadly collision with motorcyclist Randy Scott near Trent, South Dakota. And Russ Janklow says, as of now, his father isn't feeling physically well enough to return to work next week.
Russ Janklow says the congressman is feeling better than last week, but is sensitive to light and sound and on pain medication.
We've tried every day since the accident to bring you an on-camera interview from either Janklow or a spokesman, but so far all our requests have been denied.

The ringer here is, South Dakota just might see John Thune appointed to fill Janklow's term if he should resign, and Thune is closely associated with the Club for Growth that has been running hate/attack ads against Daschle on the local stations.
