4. was ebbers arrested?
Any perp walk? Please provide a link if anyone has one.

A lot of good people in Mississippi lost hundreds of thousands of dollars investing in this criminal enterprise which they were led to believe was a sound local business.

I see by the article that Ebbers was "charged" but would like to know if he was actually jailed, fingerprinted, etc.

It is the LEAST they can do for all the people who will never get their savings back.

6. Here's MSNBC Story
http://www.msnbc.com/news/957895.asp?0cv=CB10

The Oklahoma attorney general’s office filed criminal charges Wednesday against bankrupt telecommunications giant WorldCom Inc. Wednesday, alleging the company, former CEO Bernard Ebbers and other executives violated state securities laws by giving false information to investors.

--snip--

This marks the first criminal charges against Ebbers, but not against company executives. Federal prosecutors charged former chief financial officer Scott Sullivan last year; he was also named in the Oklahoma complaint.

Four other ex-executives who have pleaded guilty to federal charges and are helping prosecutors were also charged in Oklahoma: David Myers, Buford Yates Jr., Betty Vinson and Troy Normand.

The complaint alleges they schemed to defraud investors in Oklahoma by understating company

8. Our Atty General is one of the few good guys. I know him, sort of...
actually I am good friends with his son. He is asking for arrest warrants for Ebbers & others according to the local Tulsa TV station.
I've called his office asking for some action on Enron too (but it might not be feasible since they didn't office here like Worldcom did...)
