1. Not just Diebold: try Sequoia, and ES & S, and others as well.
They have the essentially the same connections and thus the same conflicts of interest.

We need to repeal HAVA, the so-called Help America Vote Act, which is a license to invite fraud without an auditable trail. Electronic Voting violates Articles I and II of our Constitution which employ Public Observance of the Voting process from BEGINNING to the END of the voting procedure. The only full-fledged solution is a paper ballot that is COUNTED by a county precinct. This is the most fool-proof way to ensure Democracy.

Electronic Voting is therefore Unconstitutional, because there is no way to fully have observance over the procedure from beginning to the end. That in itself constitutes a fair voting procedure.
