Column in Arizona Republic "Bush is the issue, and he's fair game"
this columnist has been bashing bush* for a long time, and the wingnuts hate him for it. He has it right when he says that bush is fair game during debates or any other time.

<http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/opinions/articles/1014pimentel14.html>

<snip> Pundits and others have lately been urging the Democratic presidential candidates to lay off the president and just tell us what they would do as head of state.

Even a stern Judy Woodruff briefly lectured the candidates during their recent CNN debate in Phoenix to talk about issues and to avoid criticizing the president

<snip> Four more years? That's the issue and there's no way to talk about that without mentioning the job done so far and the guy who has done it.

2. No need to bash
when telling the truth about bush* is harmful enough. That's why they don't want anyone doing it.

7. Absolutely.
That's a truly astonishing statement coming from her mouth even by today's degraded media standards. "Don't criticize the President" As if she were running a CNN staff meeting for her fellow anchorpeople and reporters. She is my nominee for media whore of the week at MWO.

10. Yes I've noticed their fondness for vacation is approaching Dumbya's
However they have quite the ways to go to reach his record tally and they actually work for a living so they have good reasons to take a vacation.

3. Who the hell is Judy Woodruff to tell the Democratic candidates
what they should talk about? Al Gore talked and talked about future policies and he barely won when it should have been a landslide . . .

Maybe we should tell Judy Woodruff to just "shut up" to quote Bill O'Reilly.

4. I love it..."a stern judy woodruff"...I would add a Whiney ...
Cheesy judy woodruff! I heard she apologized for the "fax" incident but I didn't hear what the apology said...did she out right Lie?

"Bashing is in the eye of the beholder. After the Democratic field winnows to one, do we suppose that the president won't go after this person in similar fashion? And then will the folks now complaining about the Democrats lecture the president on how he should just stick to the issues?" Great Quote! I love this guy! O. Ricardo Pimental

11. Woodruff is a constant Rush Lowbrow whipping girl as a "CNN liberal"
and I think she tries to "bend over backwards" to show she is not anti-Repuke.
