Bush's 'Great Leap Forward' - neocon madness and machinations
A succinct assessment from Justin Raimondo at antiwar.com. The article also bashes the once-libertarian Cato Institute:

"The president's response to the polls, which show overwhelming opposition to the Iraq war, is: screw you...In this, our president resembles those suicide bombers who are wreaking havoc in Iraq: he is willing to go down in flames, supremely indifferent that innocents are consumed in the resulting conflagration."
