WP: Bush’s support jumps after long decline
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10538012/

Bush's overall approval rating rose to 47 percent, from 39 percent in early November, with 52 percent saying they disapprove of how he is handling his job. His approval rating on Iraq jumped 10 percentage points since early November, to 46 percent, while his rating on the economy rose 11 points, to 47 percent. A clear majority, 56 percent, said they approve of the way Bush is handling the fight against terrorism -- a traditional strong point in his reputation that nonetheless had flagged to 48 percent in the November poll.

<snip>

Yeah, this kind of news comes out on a Monday. The news of him approving spying on Americans comes out on a Friday....

Bias. Americans are generally ignorant. Watch your football and buy your $40 sweaters.

1. Right Wingers are grasping at every smigen of good news for Bush
Ever notice they love quoting the MSM when it "helps" Bush but they scold the same MSM when they report things that don't

9. yeah, even Pox News had him in the high 30s and low 40s
and this has gone on for weeks.

When a poll is outside the margin of error, you know it's a bogus poll.

10. Lying and manipulation is second nature to them.
lying to start a war
stealing elections
planting gay hookers as reporters
buying news
planting stories

you think for one minute putting out false poll #s would bother them?

but it is too late .... one way or another is he is going down.

Edited on Mon Dec-19-05 10:15 PM by emulatorloo
Not yelling, just saying -- even gallup has him at 41

http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/12/19/bush.poll/index.html

<snip>

CNN -- President Bush's approval ratings do not appear to have changed significantly, despite a number of recent speeches he's given to shore up public support for the war in Iraq and its historic elections on Thursday.

A CNN/USA Today Gallup poll conducted over the weekend found his approval rating stood at 41 percent, while more than half, or 56 percent, disapprove of how the president is handling his job. A majority, or 52 percent, say it was a mistake to send troops to Iraq, and 61 percent say they disapprove of how he is handling Iraq specifically. The margin of error was plus or minus 3 percentage points.

11. What a load of bull....
I am not going to swallow that crap anymore....His polls can not bounce as a result of his lame-ass, mind-numbing, tortured speeches. No one in their right mind could be impressed by this dude after listening to him speak, and there just can't be that many whacko's.

15. The whores keep a-whorin'
I heard someone on some network say that his poll numbers were in a "strong minority."

Strong minority? How fucking far are they going to sink to get us to buy this murderous moron as some sort of great president? It's time to round 'em all up and take them to jail!
