Will Nancy Euthanize Ron?
The only reason I'm posting a link to this article is so I'll get the opportunity of writing in response to the question in real big letters:

Why Bother?

"But what if Nancy Reagan decides that Ronald, like Terri, is no longer a viable person and a local court directs that no more food or water be given to him until he dies of dehydration/starvation? It seems that it would be perfectly legal to do so. Since, according to the Constitution, we are all created equal by God, Ronald Reagan's life should mean no more than Terri's and what is legal for her would be legal for him. "

1. I don't want to get my hopes up to high, but i'll keep my fingers crossed

for all those killed, murdered, and tortured in many nations around the world with the help and support of him & his administration for the sake of geopolitical politics and at the behest of powerful transnational corporations.

You are getting off way to easy Ron.

How's Thatcher these days maybe Nancy can get a two for one.

3. Elderly bedridden people usually don't need "help"
pneumonia is usually common and the treatment is not very "aggressive", so they usually go quietly.. Anyway, he's past 90, and can't last much longer, no matter WHAT intervention was used..

As far as I am concerned, when the mind goes , and people can no longer communicate with others, they pretty much cease to even exist:(..

It's kind of sad to think that we help our pets have an easy death, and we even use "painless" execution for killers, but we (as a society) insist that elderly or terminally ill people suffer until the last second on this planet:(

People with Alzheimers (what Regan has) cease to exist?

A little different than the FL case, isn't it?

4. Reagan gone long gone since 1984
U of Minn.Geriatrics dept studied ron and concluded in 1984 he was long gone.

If that was not enough the two debates in 1984 reveled the man had nothing left uipstairs except those things he had repeated all his life. Simplistic puns Three he repeated ten zillion times over 50 years.

"I hate Government".
"I hate Taxes".
"I hate communists".

His three criteria for living a good life.

5. "October Surprise"
Nancy probably won't euthanize him, but the Republican National Committee might -- about this time next year, in fact.

8. Yep, Ronnie Raygun is going to depart in Oct. 2004
I'd say it was pretty close to a lock, but maybe the Busheviuks have some other, more shocking, method of October Surprising us in 2004.

But offing Raygun has to be near the top of Uncle Karl's "Opportunities List".

13. Brilliant reply!
Yes, the GOP's 'October Surprise', as Bush's actual poll numbers must be frightening terrorist Karl Rove.

7. Too easy!
Odds of Reagan's October 2004 demise go up as Shrubby's poll numbers go down.

9. To quote the late Chick Hearn, "Ronnie's in the Refrigerator"
No doubt Ronnie is in the custom-built Frigidare right now and you can bet the weekend before Election 2004, every member of the Whore Press will shed those Glycerin tears as they lie about Poopy Pants going to his Heavenly reward...

11. Totally agree, dead in October of '04.
If he isn't already in the cooler, that is. Of course his death "when it occures" will be brought out for a fun filled feast of hyper patriotism and other stupid republican tricks. Plus, there's the possible "finding" of OBL and or Saddam around that time too, to add to the festivities.

Expect the whistle ass and his handlers to do anything to keep their putrid power.

18. Reagan suspected of having Alzheimers in the '70s already
When the doofus was Gov. of California (when it was still pronounced that way) I recall the Patty Hearst kidnapping. Here was the SLA (whose tactics I do NOT condone) trying in their misguided way to provide some justice to the poor. Clearly dangerous people, and one of the big beefs was about the Fat Cats who had it all, and those who had nothing. In the middle of this brouhaha, Ray-guns appoints GUESS WHO as a regent of the University of California???
Catherine Hearst, wife of one of the fattest cats in the state...
Escalated the situation enormously...fool.
