Ministry Founder Says Muslims Intent On World Domination
Yet more of the religious bigotry we've come to expect from the (not-very) Christian Right. And with some "last days" stuff thrown in for good measure. Is it time the APA gave so-called "Fundamentalist Christianity" a DSM-IV(R) classification (maybe 666.66)? The amount of delusional thinking among these people is frightening. And if any Freepers are reading this, the disrespect is intentional. Use your brains. Get a life. And stop playing out your weird fantasies at the expense of a great country.

(AgapePress) - A Christian evangelist who was once a Muslim says her former faith was "birthed from the pit of hell" and that President Bush and others who make glowing remarks about Islam should stop.

2. OK, last week it was the Jews. This week it's Muslims. Shouldn't this week

be reserved for the Pagans? What with Samhain and all?

Look around, all these people getting costumes together.

You see any Eid candy in the stores? Yom Kippur masks?

I thought not.

It's pretty clear that those fun-loving Pagans are not about to let any upstart Abrahamic johnny come lately noveau religions do any world dominating any time soon.

4. bulls**T!

There are no expansionist Jewish or Hindu sects. Neither of those religions have expanded beyond the cultures that produced them.

Christianity and Islam share a trait that the rest of the worlds religions seem not to have, and that is the belief that it is an article of faith that they spread their religion to the entire world, and a belief that eventually the entire world will accept that theirs is the one true faith. Both Christianity and Islam have spread their faith by conquest and sword; and both have spread it through peaceful, organized missionaries performing humanitarian acts as well as preaching. And both religions have been spread by earnst, well meaning, bothersome individuals who believe that they are directed by their faith to share their beliefs with everyone they meet.

5. Interesting point.
Yes, Hinduism and Judaism do not proselytize. The 2 groups also seem to get along.

However, they surely aren't growing like Christianity and Islam.

6. Both Islam and Christianity are faiths
forged in conquest. Conversion = marketing. Violence, dominion, and eschatology under the shield of Christ or Allah. These dogmas share unmistakable parallels with the speading faith of freemarket capitalism. Only the Gods and the daily rituals differ.

No offense to those who still seek the spiritual in religion.

9. Remember the fundies most popular ex-satanist Michael Warnke
turned out to be a fraud. I'll bet her story is similarly fabricated. Anyway, during the days of segregation the KKK could always find black stooges who thought it was a good idea. so who gives a shit.
