Sarasota HeraldTribune: Harris misled us; now we know why
Edited on Thu Mar-02-06 09:53 AM by kurtyboy
<snip>
Let's not make this fuzzy: U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris lied.

Harris repeatedly misled journalists and the public about her conversations with defense contractor Mitchell Wade. I see no other way to look at this.
<snip>
<snip>
Wade, the man who handed her a bundle of $2,000 checks, within the year took our Representative B to dinner at a Washington, D.C., restaurant, Citronelle, and asked her to help the company get a defense contract. It involved work in Navy counterintelligence.

Harris dutifully carried his funding proposal to colleagues in Congress, no matter that she knew little about the proposal or whether MZM could deliver anything of value to the nation.

If Cruella is found to be more complicit even than this--will she finally roll over on the 2000 theft? Keep digging, I say.

1. Yup. If she lied about this, she lied about the 2000 election.
These creepie people learn fast.

3. The Imperial Family would slit her effing throat before she had a chance

Of course, Sarasota PD would IMMEDIATELY come out and declare it a "suicide" with absolutely NO CHANCE of foul play.

End of story. Bye, bye Kathy.

But she would never do that. She knows that, among the many similarities between Nazis and Busheviks (except in the areas of overt racism and violence), they take care of their own.

And if loyalty is not repaid, they TAKE CARE of their own.

5. It makes you wonder how much Rethugs have known about this...
After all, she's been known to have received large amounts of funds from MZM all the way back to around June, when Cunningham's case was blowing apart. That was the same time that the Rethugs pulled back from supporting her Senate race bid in a way that looked rather extreme at the time. My guess is that Bushco and those on top knew ALL about what she, Cunningham, and MZM were pulling, and knew full well they could get roped in if they supported her. If they didn't know that much about her getting bribed, then why did they push Miss Florida servant away so stridently? Something smells like they knew all about her, just like they probably knew all about Abramoff, and they probably know tons of other stuff of this huge corruption iceberg that's below the surface now, which is why the oversight machine is stopped in its tracks.
