Lone Wolf McCain Cultivates GOP Pack
The senator needs to mend relations with his party's conservative core if he's to have any real hope of being its 2008 presidential nominee.

By Janet Hook and Mark Z. Barabak, Times Staff Writers
March 12, 2006

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Sen. John McCain, who made his name as a Republican maverick, is going mainstream.
.......

Even as he has picked high-profile fights with Bush over military interrogation tactics and with congressional colleagues over pork-barrel spending, McCain has been quietly courting GOP power brokers, emphasizing his loyalty to the president and burnishing his conservative credentials on litmus-test issues.
.......

He recently met with the Rev. Jerry Falwell, a leading evangelical conservative whom he previously had denounced as intolerant. To the delight of GOP partisans, he publicly lambasted Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois — a rising star among Democrats — over an ethics and lobbying overhaul.

He is trying to build bridges to Republican leaders in key states — such as Iowa and South Carolina — that he ignored or lost in 2000. And on Friday night, he was a featured speaker at a Memphis gathering of more than 1,000 GOP faithful, where he reached out to conservative activists.

1. Weak and gutless dems need to jump on the NOW. They need to go
back to the Charles Keating fiasco, they need to go over the 2000 election and show how he let his family be used and abused. They need to start raking all the dirt up and hit this bastard with it for the next two years.

2. No way in hell will the GOP nominate McCain
He has zero support among the RW conservatives that dominate the party. And, as everyone knows, those of the strongest ideology are the people that turn out to vote in primaries, in both parties. (Check it out. Its a fact.) Therefore, McCain has no chance.

4. It doesn't matter what the Filthy Little Nobodies choose or want
Whom the Imperial family wants to warm the throne between Emperors George and Jeb, will achieve the throne.

It is as simple as that, I am sorry to say.

Besides, if McCain is chosen to be Emperor, then it will ultimately serve the Imperial Family well, IMHO. Because he will not challenge their power nor their new mechanisms of corruption and tyranny in any meaningful way, and he will finish reconciling the Imperial Subjects of Amerika to endless imperial tyranny, the way Cladius and Vespasian repaired the ruin of Claigula and Nero, ensuring that Rome would NEVER again be free.

The only question remaining is: will the Imperial Family choose McCain or Guiliani, or instead install Frist or some other incompetent Bushian hack to warm the throne for the years 2009-2016?

5. I just rubbed my crystal ball, and it said
"No, sorry, John McCain will not be running".

while McCain might seem like a viable candidate, he is not in good health. There's a photo of him somewhere in the GD. He has a huge blob on his cheek. It looked like chewing tobacco, but no, someone said he has this cancerous blob which keeps coming back.

Take a look at him. He looks sick.
