Cuban Diplomacy at Its Finest
Edited on Sat Jun-24-06 02:18 PM by Mika

Speaking at the new UN session in Geneva, Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque said..

Cuban Diplomacy at Its Finest
Havana, Jun 24 (Prensa Latina)

In his speech, Perez Roque stated that Cuba reached this election with almost 30,000 physicians saving lives and alleviating pain in 70 nations, while Washington was busy with 150,000 soldiers sent to kill and die on an unfair and illegal war.

While 300,000 eye patients from 26 Latin American countries have received free ophthalmologic surgery, the United States has over 100,000 civilians murdered and 2,500 young people dead in a war whose aim is to steal oil from a country.

While Cuban planes transport physicians and field hospitals to places of natural disasters or epidemics, the United States secretly transports drugged prisoners, said the Cuban diplomat.

A few months before of the 14th NAM Summit of Heads of States and Government to be run September 11-16 in this capital, Havana is fostering permanent mechanisms of support in the movement.

Important for Cuba is the NAM commitment to not participate in unilateral initiatives against the UN Charter, and defend multilateralism as a way to solve problems in the international context.

Kudos to the good people of Cuba.

1. Tell it like it is, Mr. Rogue! This is real foregin aid as opposed to
exorbitant interest, deadly weapons and genetically modified bullshit that the United States peddles.

2. We know for sure that this won't make the news. In fact, they may lay low

on reporting anything about Cuba for awhile so that they don't have to explain how they missed this.

In fact, the trio in the House of Representatives may not be able to rant against the inhumanity of Castro in their five minute speeches for a few months.

I hope I'm wrong. I hope this contract is blasted all over the world - or should I say in all the pockets of the U.S. where self-blindfolded lemmings live and anti-Castro Cuban-American activists live.

Viva gifted doctors spread out across the planet.

At least they aren't preaching phony and hypocritical religions.

It doesn't have to be this way - the way it is in this world, presently.

Addendum: Save the fetus so it can grow up to be killed in an unjust, unnecessary, immoral, illegal, and ungodly-costly war.
