LTTE (not mine): Entering uninvited
Entering uninvited

By the many letters in this newspaper and others, I understand we don't like the idea of others coming into this country unless we pre-approve them, even when they come for economic reasons, and work very hard at the lowest wages to make a better life for their families.

Think then on how the Iraqis must feel.

We not only entered their sovereign nation, not to work, but to destroy and kill; not to work, but for their natural resources. We entered with bombs and guns, with thousands of troops, and took over their country. This is not the way toward world peace. We don't like the uninvited. I'm sure the Iraqis don't either.

1. Wow..an island of sanity...
amidst all those wingnut letters. Makes me feel really lucky to live in a blue city in a blue state--I don't think I could take opening the local paper and reading this crap on a daily basis.

2. Whatever happened to that RW email about a Dad explaining to his
son about watching someone come down the street and break into someone's home and killing everybody in the house and saying "You're next" to the watching kid?

I just would like to know how they justify saying "You're next" to the kid . . .
