October 30, 2008 -- One week before the election, Attorney General and Republican nominee Jeb Bush made a special appearance on "American Idol" to announce that he'd personally gone undercover to break up a conspiracy by a Massachusetts wine club to knock the moon out of its orbit.

Their telescope was not definitive evidence, he admitted, but administration lawyers ruled that the Constitution did not apply on the moon.

He refused to answer a question on whether it still applied in Massachusetts.
