NYT/Dowd: Alan (Not Atlas) Shrugged
Edited on Thu Sep-20-07 12:11 AM by Raster
It’s a lost art, slinking away.

Now the fashion is slinking back.

Nobody wants to simply admit they made a mistake and disappear for awhile. Nobody even wants to use the weasel words: “Mistakes were made.” No, far better to pop right back up and get in the face of those who were savoring your absence.

We should think of a name for this appalling modern phenomenon. Kissingering, perhaps.

In Las Vegas, there’s the loathsome O.J., a proper candidate for shunning and stun-gunning, barging back into the picture.

Disclaimer: I'm not a MoDo fan, in fact, far from it. But this one is just delicious! Enjoy!:rofl:Kissingering!!!

1. LMAO reading about Rummy dissin the chimp.

It's starting already - the guys who pushed bush into this disaster are starting to push the blame onto him. When he looks around to see if cheney has his back he'll find him missing too. He's gonna be all alone in taking the hit for this clusterfuck because he was too spineless and stupid to stand up to rummy and the dick.

By the time he leaves office nobody will defend him.

2. Oh already the rats are deserting the SS bush*, and not just deserting, getting their
alibis straight! The disassociation is astounding in its scope. Two years ago every beltway wannabe couldn't get their nose wedged in tight enough. Now they're tripping over each other to get the hell out. And boy, are they gonna leave G-dumbya holding the bag. The neoCON brain-trust has already kicked cheney*/bush* to the curb. And now we have Greenspan positioning to piss all over W's parade. And yes, Rumsferatu flashing his "cover my ass" file is just beyond belief. I hope the day will come when we can line up all these craven, power-hungry bastards and make them pay for the pain and misery they have already caused and the rest that is sure to come. These bastards are traitors and guilty of TREASON. The gallows is a fitting punishment for their crimes.

3. Soon, the smucks who voted for Smirk will all deny doing so.
I saw the same thing happen with Nixon.
